Most files are available by three methods. The file name link downloads files from the server you are currently on using the HTTP protocol. The HTTP and FTP links following the file name will retrieve the file from the master Trenco archive using the HTTP or FTP protocols, respectively.

A simple Shrinkit unpacker for ProDOS. This file requires a Binscii decoder to unpack.
BinSCII is a program that encodes and decodes files for convenient and error free transmission over networks. This is the Apple II's equivalent of uuencode/uudecode or Base-64 encoding, and is considered to be the standard such utility for Apple II computers. This file should be renamed to binscii.exe after downloading in text mode; the extra .txt is to avoid confusing browsers (and people).

MacDown 1.0 is a freeware program by Jason Harper that converts graphics in MacPaint format to Apple II Hi-Res format. In addition, it will extract data from MacBinary files and decompress PackIt archives. This is a symbolic link to ../graphics/programs/macdown.shk
Andy Nicholas's Shrinkit v3.4 for creating and unpacking Shrinkit (.shk and .bxy files) on an Apple II. Requires 64K RAM. This file requires a Binscii decoder to unpack all filetype info correctly.
Andy Nicholas's Shrinkit v3.4 for creating and unpacking Shrinkit (.shk and .bxy files) on an Apple II. Requires 64K RAM. Execute this file from Applesoft BASIC by typing "-shrinkit34.exe" and hitting return. Make sure the filetype is set to text, but download in binary mode.
