This New Button Action requires HyperStudio v3.0. View32 is DreamWare, which means View32 is free for those who have purchased DreamGrafix, the only 16/256/3200 color paint program with 640 support. For those who don't own DreamGrafix, View32 is $5 shareware. If you use v32 in a commercial stack, please contact us. Introduction ------------ This NBA will allow you to incoporate 16/256/3200 or 640 mode pictures into your own HyperStudio stacks. Using View32 ------------ To use View32, you must create a button from within HyperStudio. For the Button Action, select New Button Action. If View32 is in the proper folder, "v32" will appear in the "Names:" list. Otherwise, click on the "Disk Libraries..." button, and go to the directory that View32 resides in, and double click on the file "v32". Select the "v32" line under the "Names:" list. Then click on the "Use NBA" button, and a window will appear. To select a file, click on the "Select..." button. Double click on the file you would like the button to display, and View32 will display the picture. The pop-up menu allows you to select the picture delay. "Force key" will display the picture until a key is pressed. The other selections will display the picture for a certain amount of time, and then continue. A keypress will also continue. Click on the "Okay" button when everything is correct. The "Cancel" button will restore the parameters to the original setting. During runtime, View32 will simply display the picture, and return to the card. Any connection or transistion can be used in conjunction with View32. View32 Features --------------- View32 supports 16, 256 and 3200 color and 640 mode pictures. It supports the following filetypes: PIC Raw data 16,256 color or 640 mode pictures. PNT Apple Preferred Format, 16, 256, 3200 color or 640 mode. PNT DreamWorld Preferred Format, 16, 256, 3200 or 640. View32 Errata ------------ DreamWorld Preferred Format (DPF) uses LZW for optimal compression. DreamVoir is a ShareWare program from DreamWorld that save in DPF. Using DPF will save blocks on your disks, if space is a problem. Currently, View32 is not compatible with the Video Overlay Card support is being worked on, and hopefully, it will be available soon.
