Shaston Underline Font Shaston is the standard, or ŇdefaultÓ font used by the IIgs. ItŐs built into the ROM on every IIgs just so every GS program will have it available at all times. ItŐs a great font, and a very readable one; in fact, itŐs probably the most readable font there is on the IIgs screen. But, itŐs always suffered from one annoying limitation - you canŐt underline text when using it! Well, some hacker got it into his head to fix this annoying limitation and the result is this great new version of Shaston, which looks and works exactly like the old Shaston, but has underlining capability built-in. Note that Shaston is not very well designed for underlining, so some characters may look a little funky when underlined, but text will be readable in underlined mode, and itŐs really nice to at least have this as an option when you want it. The New Shaston underlined font is only available in one point size,8.
